Recognition
The conference is organized and put together thanks to the labour of volunteers. All those working on the conference as organizers, volunteers and friends give of their own time to help make this happen. It is therefore gratifying that this work has been recognized by two community based organizations.
- In 2006 SACEM granted an award recognizing the volunteer based work of the conference.
- In 2009, the CTC (the Canadian Tamil Congress) gave an award in recognition of the conference's work.
