Announcement
The organizing committee of the Tamil Studies Conference (TSC) would like to inform everyone that our upcoming conference will be held bi-annually and is set for Friday May 9, 2014 & Saturday May 10, 2014.
This decision was made in order to promote sustained and cutting edge research in the field of Tamil Studies. The Tamil Studies Conference will remain active within the community by offering various workshops and events that are structured around the conference’s theme.
We hope these events will provide an opportunity for conference organizers, community members and others to engage in critical dialogue about this year's theme in both professional and non-academic settings. We invite friends in Toronto and those visiting the city and have an interest in Tamil Studies to join us for these events. Invitations for them will be sent out through our mailing list and also posted on our website.
We would like to apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused, however, we truly believe this decision will assist in the successful execution of the conference.
If you have any questions please address them to: info@tamilstudiesconference.ca
